Amazing Win Streak Odds + the Definition of Average

by RJ_Bell on 04/04/2008 10:29 AM

Most of us are average at most things. By definition, average is what the typical person can do.

If we are lucky, we are extraordinary at some things.

Average in sports betting is 50% winners . . . and thats what most of us can do. Nothing wrong with that you lose the juice, and have fun along the way.

PregamePros.com have extraordinary bettors thats why they are Pros.

For example, Ethan Law has won an amazing 25 of 27 Fridays. Think about that for a minute . . . now look out how such a results log would look:

WWWWWWWWWWWWLWWWWWWWWWLWWWW

The odds against doing that with 50% picks is over 330,000 to 1 against. The average capper could expect to do this about every 6,000 years.

A fluke you might say . . . well, the same Ethan Law, in front of everyone's eyes, won 19 straight games in December. The odds of doing that for an average bettor are over 524,000 to 1!

Ethan Law is NOT average. He has best bets you can play along with today.

Thanks RJ. Much appreciated! If these guys only knew how many hours we spend perfecting our craft. I think it helps that most of us have our own money on each of the selections we release so if our clients lose...we personally have lost probably a lot more.

Rocky Atkinson is 9-0 in the NCAA Tournament . . . the odds of that are 512 to 1 . . . and he goes for #10 tonight! pregame.com/.../Bettors.aspx

Thanks RJ.  I enjoy the numbers you come up with like 512 to 1.

I also know how tough it is to come up with a huge run as my best was 17 winners in a row in the NBA a few years back.

Hopefully we'll get #10 in a row tonight in CBB for March Madness.

Best of luck to all and keep those numbers coming RJ!

Rocky
