SPOTLIGHT: How to display an Avatar . . .

Avatars are the fun images located at the top/left of your posts. Forums are great, but they are very word heavy - and the chance to add images is nice. If you don't load an avatar, that spot is nothing but a dull grey box.

    LOADING AN AVATAR IS SIMPLE:

    1) Go To your Profile (tips on doing so)

    2) click the Avatar tab

    3) Enable Avatar? Click the "Yes" button

4a) If you want to use an image that is located on the net, insert that URL in the "Upload Avatar" box.

4b) Or, if you want to use an image from your hard drive, click "Browse" . . . find & select your image.

Once the image is chosen, click the "Update" button.

    5) Click "Save Changes" button

It's that easy! You can change your Avatar as often as you like.

The most common complication is some people skipped step 3 above and have not "enabled" their avatars. How do you know this is the problem? You'll see a small blank box with a red X where your avatar is supposed to be.

If you have any questions, you can ask them right here . . .
