I guess I should be happy with top 20....I sure wish that picking the national champion meant something point wise though.  Congrats to GW1968 whoever you may be....

MATTY, THE POOL SCORING SHOULD BE MORE LOADED TOWARD THE FINAL 4, AND PICKING THE WINNER SHOULD COUNT MORE HEAVILY ON THE TOTAL. OF COURSE I WOULD FEEL THAT WAY, I HAD KANSAS AND TOTAL AT 143. THE OBJECTIVE IS TO PICK THE EVENTUAL WINNER, AS IS THE OBJECTIVE OF THE TOURNAMENT ITSELF, AND NOBODY REMEMBERS THE LOSERS (EXCEPT FOR MEMPHIS' FLAMEOUT).  SUGGESTION:

FIRST ROUND--1 POINT  --2nd--2 pts-- 16--5pts --8-10pts---final4--20pts and winner--50pts.                                              

c'mon guys, the points should be awarded thusly------more points as the teams advance (and the picking gets harder). I had 3 in the final 4 and the leader had 1 . If the object of the ncaa tournament is to determine a winner, then picking the final 4 and the eventual champion should count for much more than picking a first or second round game. COMMON SENSE.

You're absolutely right buddy - unfortunately, I didn't realize the system was scoring it differently than I thought, and I can't change it now.

Next year we'll make sure to get it right

Sorry buddy, nothing I can do about it now.  I can assure you many people are in the same boat, but our pool rewarded picking underdogs based on seeds.

I posted at different times, all showed up together, looks like a wild rant! I can just hear the winner bragging to his friends and they say "so you picked Kansas? He says no. They say then how'd you win? heh heh.

Like I said, what's done is done - the winner can brag about how outstanding he was at picking upsets.  That's pretty impressive you ask me.

Remember this was a FREE contest and will be better next year.
