8 Points is way too many tomorrow...

Boston favored 8 over Cleveland in Game 7? Doesn't make much sense to me....this line should be 4 like the SA/NO Game 7.

Jump on Clev today before the line goes to 7' or 7.

I'll be rooting for Clev straight up, as I bet them to win the series before it started! Beer

i think the books have it wrong but people will pay the "patroits tax" and take Celtics tomorrow as i may do the same. if it wasnt for lousy officiating they wouldnt be in a game 7 tomorrow, regardless you dont give the best player in league an opportunity for a game 7 and i will be on the edge of my seat tomorrow.

You could be right about the line movement Stew, as 67% of the early betting action is on the Cavs according to Sportsbook Spy

However, consider this with the Celtics:

    • 18-5 in Game 7s (15-3 at home)
    • 28-0 all-time when leading 3-2
    • Average margin of victory at home in the playoffs is 18.3 points per game

    Matty-

I am with you on these stats....

I'd expected (HOPED) to see a -6, or -5.5 and no lower than O/U 179...dang....I'll probably have to lay off a LARGE Wager, or single wager, but looking at 1/2 Unit Teaser:

    BOSTON CELTICS:  -3

CLEVELAND CAVALIERS at BOSTON CELTICS:  UNDER 179

I do not see much value either way, and this line is one possession within 6 of the nine scenarios ran thru the ol' stat machine.

I very strongly contend that BOSTON WILL WIN and advance.

I'm JONEZIN' but not surprised that this line is so much higher than I'd hoped for...

DO YOU THINK IT'S GOT A CHANCE TO GET DOWN TO 6 ANYWHERE?

It's down to 7.5 and 7 at two obscure offshores...but actually nudging up to 8.5 a few spots.too...

(Never even HEARD of 'Las Palamas'...cheap rip off of the Palms...I guess...but it's down to -7.5 there, and -7 at Wager Sheet)

No chance that it gets down to 6 because it's such a key number.  If you like Cleveland, grab the number now.  Otherwise, wait until Sunday for 7.5 or 7.

I think Cavs +8 hc is a gift..we will see a defensive basketball tomorrow no doubt..so + hc is important in low score games..in game 5 Cavs lead by 14 points in the first half..but they didn't defend this advantage..cavs didn't show the same performance in 48 minutes..this is the only deficiency for cavs..

Garnett is the only player who plays good at offense..Pierce and Allen show indistinct performance..Celtics play very powerful at defense only their home.. but I don't think they will stop LeBron tomorrow..Celtics will have foul troubles tommorrow like game 6..

my choice is cavs +8..we'll see what happens tomorrow..good luck..

You guys are right in line with what the public is thinking.  This game will be the ultimate test of whether or not the public is right or wrong in a big-game situation.

Refs have been absolutely horrible in both the Hawks series and now this one Ace. Last night was probably the worse game yet.

7 is right around the right line. I don't find a lot of value in the line. Just remember how good Boston has been on the home court. Remember game 7 vs. Atlanta (just a thought, im not saying that will happen). 5 is way too low, i would jump on that in a heart beat. But right now i really find no value either way.

We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then, is not an act, but a habit
