Met Coach Larry Fedora back in January. He REALLY impressed me ( GREAT Attitude & DRIVE) & All the Southern Miss Fans & Alumni. This Guy has put together a GREAT Coaching Staff. He had a very Good RECRUITING Class this Year (Rated #1 in CUSA by Phil Steele) & Next Year Might be a Top 20 CLASS. He's GOING after Kids that Jeff Bower wouldn't even try to recruit. He THINKS (KNOWS) he can bring in Kids (4* & 5*s) that in the past would ONLY consider Schools like Alabama, LSU, Auburn, etc. One Fan said "He'll NEVER stay at Southern Miss....He Goes 12-0, gets a BCS Bid.....Fedora's OFF to Texas to replace Mack Brown"

(Just Like he has for the last 6-8yrs) Brett's PLAYED QB for 30yrs.....That's ALL He Knows! Like all PLAYERS (ie. Michael Jordan) they start to second guess their decision to retire. As for returning to Southern Miss....He's NEVER Coached & he just met Head Coach Larry Fedora at the Spring Game. He'll ALWAYS have a Place at Southern Miss....Right know it's former Southern Miss Great & NFL MVP & Legend!!!!

Let's consider the possibilities.....

1) He comes back to Green Bay.............  

a) with a Good Young team( He plays at a High Level) LEADS them to a Super Bowl (Win or Lose)

b) his LEVEL of play starts declining.

c) He gets INJURED....play long enough & "It will happen"

2) Green Bay trades him to......

a) Washington

b) Tampa Bay

c) ?

Personally I hope he STAYS Retired. I remember Johnny Unitas, Bart Starr, & Joe Namath playing too long! 

No doubt - he is coming off a magical season with a near-storybook ending.  Before that, his play definitely was declining.  Last year was his big chance, and he still ended up as a record breaker.  Let the Packers move on already...
