Having lost Baron Davis to the Clippers & Matt Barmes to the Suns, the Warriors have since signed Clippers Corey Magette & Lakers Ronnie Turiaf. Their latest singing is Marcus Williams from the Nets for conditional draft picks later.

Williams waspicked at #22 in the  1st rnd. by the Nets in 2006. The 6'3 guard av. 6.4 pts. & 3 assists p.g. in 132 outings. Out for 23 games w/injury last season, the Warriors feel he has not realized his full potential at age 22.

I like this trade Jimmy - Marcus Williams is a very solid point guard who could really benefit from playing in Nelly's system.  I was hoping that the Warriors would get Kirk Hinrich from the Bulls instead for Al Harrington but they seem to be making the right moves so far to compensate for losing Baron

That's funny Matty, I was thinking Hinrich too.So far I think they have done the best they could on getting what was available. Williams was pretty damn good in college. Uni. of Conn.
