It's difficult that's for sure. But I'm trying to stay strong and optimistic through this Coronavirus pandemic. So with that in mind, I've compiled a short list of good things coming out of this horrible situation.
Fans of the Pistons, Red Wings and Tigers are spared from having to watch their teams.
From helping home school my children now that their school is closed, I have even more admiration and respect for teachers. They are unsung heroes. Many are vastly underpaid especially those in Nevada. By contrast, the Orioles' Chris Davis makes $23 million a year, nearly $142,000 per game and he might be the worst player in the majors.
Jimmy Graham is gone from the Packers and as a Packers fan I'm thrilled, even moreso because the sucker Bears signed him. I guess Ryan Pace doesn't think the Bears have enough tight ends. I'm glad Pace isn't the GM of my team.
On the topics of morons, what the hell is Bill O'Brien doing trading DeAndre Hopkins for David Johnson? Hopkins is a top-three wide receiver. Johnson was a bottom-three running back this past season and hasn't been good the last several years. As bad of a head coach as O'Brien is, he's an even worse GM, which is saying a lot.
Back to finding positive things. ... thinking. ... thinking. OK, my cooking has improved a little since we're now eating home all the time.
I have extra time to do my baseball research.
I'll try to come up with some more things. In the meantime, be smart and stay well. Let's get through this together.
