The Major League Baseball season continues this evening with an Interleague matchup. The game features the Los Angeles Angels playing on the road at the Cincinnati Reds. The game is scheduled for a 6:41 p.m. start time and it will be televised live on ESPN+. Currently the MLB odds for the game have the Reds listed as the favorites to win the contest at home.

Both teams come into the contest with nine wins on the season and looking to improve. The Reds have been "meh" in home games this season with a unsatisfactory 4-5 mark to date. They hand the ball to youngster Nick Lodolo, he likes to fill up the strike zone. It's only been one start and against arguably the worst team in the league in the White Sox, but Lodolo struck out 10 in five-plus innings in his first start.

The Reds are coming off a three-game sweep in Seattle where they scored just five runs. Getting back to being at home should give them a boost here. Tyler Anderson gets the ball for LA, he's been strong this year as well and has good numbers against current Reds players. 

I haven't been impressed with the Angels offensively to date, though Mike Trout looks to be poised for another good season. Cincinnati hasn't been any better as a team, but both Jake Fraley and Spencer Steer have been solid.

I like Lodolo at home and Cincinnati getting back to normal after a bad series in Seattle.
