I am in my 42nd year of handicapping ( Fall 2014) and originally hail from Pennsylvania where I graduated with a B.A. @ King's College in Journalism/Radio Broadcasting/Film. My father Jake introduced me to handicapping and told me to stick with what you do best but have fun doing it. After many years of trial & error, I perfected a multi-level system that involved your usual fundamental-situational-technical handicapping tools with a number value edge factor and the public/mush perception. I tested the system and won or finished in the top 10 in many online sportsbook contests after the millennium. I was notified it was possible to join a Vegas contest along with my then partner as long as you had a proxy. Things were tough that year as my dad (who was All-State & never had a health problem til after retirement) was stricken with bone cancer. I told him we would win it for him & entered the Hilton Superbook in Vegas. My partner & I have done numerous shows in studio & radio/podcasts on the NFL and it was enjoyable at the start. We persevered & won the Las Vegas Hilton Superbook that year (2007-08). It was nice to bring home the Lombardi-looking trophy home and be the toast of Manhattan in late January. However, my partner & I dissolved our partnership later that year due to code of ethics and professionalism issues. I then entered Leroy's College Football Contest and won several top 20 finishes along with their pro contests. After that, I felt I needed a new challenge. I entered an NFL sportsbook contest where you had to pick now 10 winners ATS per week. In 2010, I went 10-for-10 there & was an instant winner of $5,000. I am currently a professional handicapper in my 7th year employed @ Vegastopdogs amongst about 30+ other cappers. I played 1 year of club football as a kicker @ King's College ( sister-school of Notre Dame), kicked my longest FG @ 42 yards & also won several regular season & playoff semi-pro baseball championships with the Twin Cities Twins. My godfather was a professional basketball referee in the ABA since its inception in 1966. I have unbeatable stories from him that also involve the Puerto-Rican Summer Basketball League where the ABA, NBA & local players formed a 12-man team with an NBA coach. I have an EYE OF THE TIGER philosophy and I am a firm believer in Bankroll+Knowledge+Money Management+Discipline= a higher percentage of winners. I also believe losses are the victory of which wins bloom. I am a straight-shooter capper that gives you 110% but has fun doing it. Good Luck to all & my door is always open. I won the www.VegasTopDogs.com NFL Handicapping Championship in 2013-14 & have hit a shade under 60% since 2007.
