So in two of the biggest college games of the year, we’ve seen two players ejected for questionable targeting calls. I understand the rule and what they are trying to accomplish, but at some point common sense has to set in and these officials need to distinguish between what’s intentional and what’s not. The linebacker for Clemson tonight lead with the crown of his helmet I get it, but it’s not like he was trying to injure the opposing player. He’s playing a fast game in a big moment and trying to make a play. If he needs to be penalized fine, but somethings gotta be done about the ejections. These kids are playing in the biggest game of their lives and you’re gonna just send them to the locker room because of a split second decision??! I don’t know. I hate it as well as this blindside block crap.
I’m curious what you guys think?
